The Lyndhurst House is situated just 2 minutes level walk to Lyndhurst village centre and open woodland.
In the village of Lyndhurst there are a variety of restaurants, cafes and Olde English Pubs. You will also find the New Forest Visitor Museum and Visitor Information Centre and an excellent choice of smaller shops for you to browse in.
There is easy access to the many attractions of the New Forest and nearby coast. Pony Trekking, Cycle Hire, Golf and walking facilities are close by. Just take a drive through the forest down to the coast, have a day in Lymington or take a ferry to the Isle of Wight.
Cycling is a ideal way
to explore the New Forest there is plenty of opportunity to get well
off the beaten track.
The
New Forest and surrounding area,
has so much to offer you and your family. Why not take a picnic and
enjoy a shady secluded spot for lunch, or take advantage of one of
the many inns located along the suggested cycle routes.
Alternatively why not indulge yourselves with a cream tea at one of
the many picturesque tea rooms in this national park.

The seaside town of Bournemouth, with its beaches, shopping and entertainment, is only 30 minutes away. Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge and Winchester Cathedral, which are steeped in history, are all about 40 minutes away. The City of Southampton is about 20 minutes by car, with excellent shopping and entertainment facilities including a theatre.. So come and enjoy a few days in this beautiful area.
